Cultivation Lead Neumünster - Germany Reporting to the Cultivation Supervisor (Propagation, Cultivation, IPM, Tissue Culture or designate); the Cultivation Lead will be responsible for safely carrying out the duties which support the growth and health of the plants.The Cultivation Lead will follow standard operating procedures and document consistently to ensure the quality of the plants. Role and Responsibilities
Work with Cultivation Supervisor to mentor and oversee the performance of production technicians while maintaining a safe, clean and compliant workplaceCare of the plants in CultivationSupply fertilizer and water with an irrigation systemEnsure Batch Records are maintained with on time entry and documentation are completed in relation to tasks and processesEnsure Labour Tracking data and matrixes are submitted on time to the Cultivation Supervisor for review and verificationConsistently evaluate worker safety, quality, SOP compliance and schedule statusEnsure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, and safetyProvide leadership for problem and conflict resolutionExecute plant production activities with SupervisorsEnsure greenhouse sanitation is completed and minor cleaning is performed as needed by Cultivation Technicians during the crop cycle in coordination with Cultivation SupervisorAny other duty deemed essential as requested by the Supervisor Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School diploma preferred or Trained Gardener (Master diplom)Min. 1-year experience in a greenhouse or in agriculture is preferredStrong observational skills and prioritization of tasksStrong leadership skills and desire to learnMust have the ability to accurately document weights and measuresCapable of multi-taskingAbility to continuously learn and implement Standard Operational Procedures, GACP- and Good Manufacturing Praticies complianceAbility to perform the safe and effective execution of all duties in accordance with established company safety, quality and compliance policies
